Caspio Donates $1 per Facebook “Like” for Kids in the Amazon
October 5, 2011
Caspio has partnered with the Mona Foundation to help support a school in the Amazon, Brazil. Our team has created a fund where contributions are matched by the company and 100% of the money will go directly to the school. Our goal is to send 50 children to school in 2012, so we are extending our pledge out to the community to also support the cause.
Caspio is donating $1 for every LIKE on our Facebook page.

The school we have chosen to sponsor is the Association for the Cohesive Development of the Amazon (ADCAM) in Manaus, Brazil. This school had a humble beginning. It was founded in 1985 by a few people who cared about the education of under-privileged kids. Initially it was a small orphanage with 30 kids, but now ADCAM has grown to support the education of over 4,000 kids per year.

The Caspio team is also considering visiting ADCAM next year. We will be sharing our progress on this blog as we reach our goal and prepare for the trip, as well as pictures and stories from our visit.
One of the three core values of Caspio is Service. First, serving our customers, then our own employees, and finally our community. Being a global company with customers in over 40 countries, we consider the whole world our community.
