Caspio 9.9 Release: Triggered Actions
October 30, 2017
We are pleased to announce the release of Caspio 9.9 for all new and existing customers. This version includes Triggered Actions and some additional usability enhancements — all designed to help you create more powerful applications.
Watch the video below for a quick demo of the new features, and be sure to read the release notes for complete details.
Triggered Actions
Triggered Actions allow you to customize your application logic using a visual drag-and-drop interface, where specific data events can trigger additional data updates, calculations and conditional logic. For example, an inventory application could utilize Triggered Actions to automatically reconcile inventory on hand as new orders come in.
This feature was highly-requested by our active user community and we look forward to seeing customers leverage it to achieve sophisticated process automation in the coming weeks and months.
Redesigned App Overview
We’ve revamped the App Overview screen to provide more useful information about your applications, such as the number of database records, user roles, files and storage space. You’ll also find dynamic tips to guide new users in creating Caspio applications.
For a complete list of all the enhancements in this release, please read the release notes.
