Improved Import/Export Wizards

The New Import Wizard allows you to upload tables from any of the seven most commonly used data formats, or multiple files in the same data format compressed in a ZIP file. Formatting tips are provided on the screen as you select a specific data format to further assist you in your data upload.

Step-by-Step

To import data into Caspio Bridge:

1. Select the appropriate format. Click the browse button to locate your file.

2. Select which tables to include in the import. Next choose whether to create a New Table, or Append or Replace existing tables within your Caspio account. Caspio will display an information icon to confirm the replace is possible. At any time an information or warning/error icons may appear. Mouse over the icon to see a detailed message.

3. Configure the desired Data Type of your individual fields. Underscores in field names will be converted to spaces automatically when creating a Caspio DataPage. Caspio automatically detects the Data Type of your fields and sets a default which you can modify using the dropdown menu. The system will alert you if a Data Type change may cause loss of data integrity.

4. The import process works in the background. You can close this window and move on to other projects within your Caspio account, or even log out of your account, while large data imports. You will be notified once your import is complete.
